Mahindra xylo pickup/cargo review

As an answer to Tata's cargo carrier Xenon Mahindra & Mahindra decided to launch their New Mahindra Xylo Pickup/Cargo Version by end this year.Its the cargo/pickup variant of thir recently launched SUV Xylo.The Xylo pickup truck would come about from Mahindra’s Nashik plant later on in 2009.

Mahindra, by introducing the Xylo is trying to operate with full steam in Nepal, Bhutan and South Africa where demand for bigger vehicles is comparatively more. Unlike the Tata Xenon which harbors planes and a boxy design, the Mahindra Xylo pickup would use curves and rounded edges.

Xylo Pickup uses the same engine,the Eagle CRDe that is used by Xylo.With 2498cc, CRDe, M-Eagle Diesel engine the New Mahindra Xylo Pickup is capable of producing a maximum power of 112 Bhp @ 3800 rpm and a peak torque of of 240 Nm at 1800-3000 rpm
