2010 AC Schnitzer ACS3 3.5d Coupe

AC Schnitzer have announced that their BMW 335d Coupe has broken the world diesel speed record. The new world record of the AC Schnitzer ACS3 3.5d Coupe was set on the Nardo race track in Italy at 288.7 km/h. This is 8.7 km/h faster that the previous one set in 2006.

Naturally the power upgrade which took the latest world record holder to success is part of the extensive AC Schnitzer special accessory range and available for all vehicles based on the 3.5d engine. It is TÜV-approved and available from BMW dealers. AC Schnitzer’s website says the 335d can be tuned to produce 228 kW (310 hp).

Apart from the AC Schnitzer BMW 335d record, the tuner also managed a 303.1 km/h top speed with the AC Schnitzer ACS4 3.5 turbo which is based on the BMW Z4 sdrive 35i.
