Audi TT RS Coupe 2012 Review

Audi TT RS is powered by award-winning 2.5-liter turbocharged five-cylinder that generates 360 horsepower TFSI and 343 lb-ft of torque between 1650 and 5400 rpm for power demand. All engine parts are designed to withstand extreme pressures and demands of a thoroughbred sports engine. Six forged crankshaft bearing, weight-optimized connecting rods, exhaust valves sodium-cooled, lightweight pistons with specially adapted collection of rings is indicative of the changed in the TT RS.

The combination of FSI ® and a result of high combustion efficiency turbocharger optimally, higher energy and the rapid accumulation of boost pressure, even at low speeds. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and quattro ® all-wheel drive is standard. An automatic transmission is available for the TT RS. Audi TT RS accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds, making it the fastest in its class.

Audi magnetic ride is standard on the TT RS, which allows the sleep feature actively altered, the driver must have the system constantly adapts to the driving situation. A sport mode stiffens the magnetic ride, improves the responsiveness of gas, and creates a more powerful engine sound through the exhaust system components.

Aluminum and steel ASF ® hybrid technology is also in TT and TTS models, reduces weight, while helping to increase rigidity and safety. The framework of the reduced space of £ 3,306 is composed of 69% aluminum and 31% of the steel that makes it 48% lighter than solid steel chassis. Audi TT RS offers excellent aerodynamics with a drag coefficient of 0.32, due to its shape and soft optimized vehicle base.

Audi TT RS has evidence of a design unique to your special place in the top of the TT model line. The shiny black diamond Singleframe ® air intakes and large grill in front to give notice of vehicle performance, as the fixed rear spoiler that provides downforce. Oval exhaust pipes, rear diffuser, unique 19 "wheels rotor body covered frames and exterior mirrors in circles with a matte finish of the aluminum design elements of RS-specific.
