2010 Classic Recreations Shelby GT500CR

Officers then licensed GT500CR announced 1967 Shelby car program in 2009 SEMA Show in Las Vegas for modification and custom manufacturing company founded by Jason Engel, Recreation Classic. The first prototype made its debut in the same city after about four months of development on the amount of customization. As the first official 1967 Shelby Mustang continuation car ever built, the hand-built G.T.500CR features a 427 cubic inch (7.0L) engine, model specific bodywork, custom paint and hand-stitched upholstery. Every G.T.500CR has an official Shelby serial number and badges. Therefore, the car will be included in the Shelby World Registry.





The G.T.500CR prototype appeared in Las Vegas is the 545 horsepower Performance Model. This model features a fuel injected, naturally aspirated engine, Tremec overdrive transmission, modern coil-over suspension with rack-and-pinion steering, and modern vented disc brakes. The interior features Carroll Shelby signature seats, custom gauges, brushed aluminum trim, five-point harnesses and more.

Besides the Performance Model with investment starting at $149,000, other G.T500CR models include the Intro and the top of the line Venom. The Intro Model is powered by 427 C.I Crate Engine (545 H.P.), the investment starting at $119,000. The Venom Model is powered by 427 C.I Crate Engine (780 H.P.), the investment starting at $199,000. 2011 Ford Shelby GT500

The 2011 Ford Shelby GT500 is a new performance package for the Shelby GT500 developed by Ford’s Special Vehicle Team (SVT) engineers for both the coupe and convertible models. As the primary improvement, this new performance offers all-new aluminum-block 5.4-liter supercharged V-8 engine, which is lighter than its predecessor. Besides, the 2011 Shelby GT500 also offers an optional package for both models.







Powered by the new engine package with Plasma Transferred Wire Arc (PTWA) liner coating which is able to increased power and fuel economy, the 2011 Shelby GT500 is claimed to be the first modern Shelby without the gas guzzler tax. To support the engine, 2011 Shelby GT500 featured with new exhaust sized 2.75-inch.

Several upgrades are also carried out for the exterior, including standard HID (high-intensity discharge) headlamps, 19-inch aluminum wheels with all-new Goodyear Eagle® F1 SuperCar G: 2 tires, and an optional glass roof. And for the convenience in the interior, the car is stuffed with MyKeyTM programmable vehicle key.

The optional package offers unique styling, lighter wheels, a higher rear axle ratio and stiffer springs, which is available on both the Shelby GT500 convertible and coupe. For the convertible model, the enhanced features include structural rigidity with lateral stiffness, the stiffened V-brace, and etc.

2011 Shelby GT350

Shelby American has unveiled the Shelby GT350 supercharged concept version of the Mustang-based 2011 Shelby GT350 to honor the 45th anniversary of the first GT350 and first Shelby big block Cobra. Each Shelby GT350 will be clad in traditional white with Shelby Guardsman blue Le Mans stripes and feature the new Ford V8 coupled to a 6 speed manual transmission and center exit exhaust. Blue Shelby GT350 valve covers and billet caps set off the supercharged engine. The Baer brake system features 6 piston kit in the front, as well as 14″ ERADISPEED rotors in the rear with cooling ducts for all four corners.



The suspension was upgraded with new Ford Racing springs, struts, sway bars and adjustable caster/camber plates. The 2011 Shelby GT350 also receives a new front fascia, tail light trim, front splitter, rear deck lid filler panel and rear fascia. Functional scoops are located on the side rockers and hood. GT350 badges on the outside and inside include a Shelby serial number. The A pillar carries a fuel pressure, oil pressure and boost gauge.

The Shelby GT350 is a post title program; a customer purchases a car from their local Ford Dealer, which is turned into a GT350 by the Shelby American Team. A limited number will be built in the 2011 model year. The Shelby GT350 up-fit completed by Shelby American has a MSRP of $33,995 and does not include the price of the base car.
