DODGE VIPER SRT10 ACR-X TO BE LAUNCHED BY JULY 2010

Dodge's ultimate muscle car, Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR-X has officially entered production last month. The official debut of this incredible machine from Dodge will be in July 2010.
In Ralph Gilles' (President and CEO, Dodge) words, "The 2010 model year is going to be unique for the Dodge Viper in many ways both on and off the track, so to kick it off with production of our ultimate special-edition Viper ACR-X is our way of paying tribute to the performance engineering expertise of our SRT team, combined with the passion and dedication of Viper Nation, to keep the tradition going strong".
Now the surprise!!!!!! The Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR-X is powered by an 8.4-liter V-10 engine, equipped with factory headers and low restriction exhaust system. This power house delivers the beast 640 hp, which is 40 more than the production model and 605 lb-ft of torque which is 45 more than the production model. The suspension of Viper SRT10 ACR-x has also been tuned and upgraded specifically for on-track usage. In addition to aerodynamic upgrades which improve downforce, the weight has been reduced by 160 pounds. Apart from these, a factory designed roll cage, race seat and fuel cell are delivered for the ultimate racing experience.

2010 Edo Competition Aston Martin DBS

Edo Competition Aston Martin DBS is a consequence of the changes made by Edo Competition Motorsport for 12-cylinder Aston Martin is already producing 517 horsepower and top speed of more than 300 km / h (186 mph). The first step taken by Edo Competition was improving the power output. Dealing with the levels of grip, Edo competition offers a new wheel design, a set of 21 inch racing wheels. The three-piece wheels come with stainless steel outer rims and the customer can choose the stock tire dimensions or go with a set of Continental tires in the following dimensions: 255/ 30 ZR 21 (front), 295/ 25 ZR 21 (rear).

Further, Edo competition has developed a new high performance brake system, 405 mm rotors with 6-piston monoblock calipers and performance brake pads for the front and 380 mm rotors with 6-piston monoblock calipers and performance brake pads for the rear, both including braided stainless steel brake lines.

As with all Edo competition model, special interiors is also offered, while individual requests are accommodated and implemented with quality. The interior can be spiced up with the available carbon fiber shifter and shifter console, or the customer can opt for a custom interior in any color or material he desires, including handmade leather interiors.

The modifications of this Edo competition Aston Martin DBS are all carried out at Edo competition Motorsport GmbH in Ahlen, Germany.

2011 Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition

The 2011 Corvette Z06 Limited Edition carbon, another example of the extension line Corvette is a tribute to the 50th anniversary of the first race Corvette in the 24 Hours of LeMans. For negative acceleration, this limited edition Z06 will boasts Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with specific dark gray metallic calipers, which were first introduced on the ZR1. Black 20-spoke 19-inch front/20-inch rear wheels complement the car’s Michelin PS2 tires. Other mechanical features include Magnetic Selective Ride Control for the first time on the Z06 and enhanced cooling. The car also features a special carbon pattern engine cover.

The Z06 Carbon will also be provided with two optional packages. The first is the Z07 performance package that includes the mechanical upgrades introduced on the Z06 Carbon, Competition Gray 20-spoke wheels, and all the chassis and cooling upgrades. The second is the CFZ Z06 carbon fiber package that includes black carbon fiber rockers, splitter and roof panel with the full-width body color spoiler. This can also be purchased with or without the Z07 package on regular Z06 models.

The 2011 Corvette Z06 Carbon Limited Edition, as well as the new Z07 and CFZ Z06 option packages will be available in late summer.

MARUTI CERVO TO BE LAUNCHED BY THE END OFTHIS YEAR

India's no.1 car maker Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch its new compact car Cervo by the end of this year. The Maruti Suzuki Cervo is powered by a 660cc K6A DOHC engine with VVT which delivers a power of 54 bhp.
The 5-door Cervo is similar in look to Honda Fit. The interior design of Maruti Suzuki Cervo will be identical to that in Maruti Suzuki Swift or Maruti Suzuki SX4. Other significant features are 4-speed automatic transmission and bluetooth capability.
Maruti Suzuki has already launched Cervo in Japan and has turned out to be a success there. The expected price of Maruti Suzuki Cervo is between Rs.2 lakh to Rs.3 lakh.
