Power accessories, keyless entry and alarm are all available in the Premium package.
The sporty Accent SE two-door hatchback adds 16-inch cast aluminum, the adjustment of the firmer suspension, lights, cruise control and leather steering wheel with audio controls. Accent GLS sedan list of standard features and options is very similar to that of the GS sedan.
Propulsion and Performance
Front-wheel-drive 2011 Hyundai Accent is equipped with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that puts out 110 hp and 106 pound-feet of torque. A five-speed manual is standard on all models except the GS, which can be a four-speed automatic, which is also available as an option for everyone, but the entry-level GL. Performance testing, a manual with Accent is increased from zero to 60 mph 9.4 seconds.
As for fuel economy estimates of Focus models equipped with the return of four-speed automatic EPA 27 mpg highway mpg and 30 mpg city/36 combined. Models with five-speed manual transmission is rated at 28 mpg highway mpg and 30 mpg city/34 combined.
Security
LL 2011 Hyundai Accents are equipped with front seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. Anti-lock brakes are available for the GL, but is optional for the hatchback and sedan GS GLS. SE hatchback get anti-lock brakes as standard.
Accent is not the government tested a new, more demanding crash test procedure. The 2010 class (which is not comparable to other tests in 2011) was a perfect five stars for front-occupant protection and four stars for front occupants and side-impact protection and three stars the rear passengers in the event of side impact .
In tests by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, the emphasis has been rated the second highest "acceptable" for frontal offset, but the worst of the "poor" rating in side impact tests. In braking tests, with an accent to ABS 60 mph in a respectable 122 feet without it, shooting 155 meters away.
Interior Design and Special Features
There is clear from the fact that the Focus interior design and materials look cheaper than less attractive than competitors like the Nissan Versa. The front seats are comfortable, however, and driver seat height adjustment standard is a nice touch. The lack of a tilt steering wheel in GL base model may make it harder for pilots to become familiar, however.
The rear seats offer enough legroom for adults of average size. Having said that, in and out of the saloon models place requires a little 'because scrambling to close between the front seats and door threshold. Boot volume is average for cars in this segment, with nearly 16 cubic feet of space for the sedan models, and more than 12 cubic feet in the trunk of the sedan.
Guide
As is the case with many small cars, the 2011 Hyundai Accent performance depends largely on what transmission you choose. The five-speed manual transmission makes the car feel reasonably peppy, while the four-speed automatic bogs it down. In addition, a sport suspension on the SE models offer better handling, while the softer suspension in GL, GS and GLS versions shows a smoother ride. Although one of the quietest interiors in this segment, the Accent engine noise often deny this advantage to gain momentum.
