2010 Switzer Performance P800 Nissan GTR
In a race track, the mass is the enemy. This is what has motivated the owners of the Nissan GTR associated with the Ohio-based performance tuning of the Swiss company, asking to reduce the mass of GTR tuner. Less mass means more in the driver can control brake stopping power curve is greater, and better power / weight also means more miles per hour on straight. Performance of the Swiss team started working on the Super Silver GTR 2010, starting with the P800 proved gaming companies, replacing a car intercoolers, intake, and turbochargers with motor components beat Switzerland GTR 800 hp and 700 lb-ft of torque.
In addition, Switzer Performance fitted featherweight carbon rotors from AP, which cut a considerable amount of unsprung weight and rotating mass from each corner of the GTR, while improving fade resistance. Application-specific pads, high-temperature brake fluid (AP), and stainless steel braided brake lines round out the brake package with improved pedal feel and increase stopping power.
Weight was also cut with the addition of a lightweight (ceramic-coated) titanium exhaust system, dry-carbon decklid, and lightweight sports seats from Bride. Up on the scales, Super Silver 2010 GTR weighed in at a much-improved 3600 lbs. This is enough to make a significant impact on handling, braking, and straight-line speed.
Further, to enhance the handling, Switzer Performance provides the Nissan GTR with a fully-adjustable JRZ suspension system complemented by stiffer adjustable sway bars, an underbody diffuser, and an active-aero wing from Aeromotions. Switzer’s P800 and upgraded cooling packages are also available through Switzer dealers.
